The Prime Minister appears to have finally admitted he can’t force Britain out of the EU on 31 October.

Boris Johnson instead offered his opponents a deal: extra time to debate Brexit in return for a general election on 12 December.

Labour doesn’t appear to be biting with Jeremy Corbyn instead saying no-deal must be taken off the table first.
