British MEPs leave European Parliament for last time ahead of Brexit
British Members of the European Parliament have left the Brussels headquarters for the final time. Led by Brexit Party member Anne Widdecombe on the ‘Brexodous Express’, they made a “farewell march” from the parliament building to the Eurostar.
Ms Widdecombe led the Party’s departure after leader Nigel Farage left Brussels for the last time as an MEP on Wednesday evening following the final vote on the Withdrawal Agreement. The UK will leave the EU at 11pm this evening.
