Can PM’s Brexit trade talks deadline be met?
Boris Johnson has set a self-imposed deadline of 15 October to reach a trade deal with the EU – or the UK will end up with no-deal on trade.
The Prime Minister told EU leaders of his disappointment that more progress had not been made during Brexit talks.
Mr Johnson held a phone call with President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council Charles Michel.
The latest ‘state of play’ in negotiations for the UK’s exit of the European Union was discussed.
