ECB’s Lagarde Sees Economy at Pre-Crisis Level by Year-End

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde says the central bank will slow the pace of its bond-buying program as the euro area’s recovery is strong enough to endure with less support. “The rebound phase in the recovery of the euro area economy is increasingly advanced,” Lagarde said at a press conference following the decision.
