‘It will get worse’: Trump warns that U.S. coronavirus crisis is far from over

In a stunning change of tune, Donald Trump has warned that the coronavirus crisis will ‘get worse before it gets better.’
Battling a sharp decline in approval for his handling of the virus, the US President has resumed regular pandemic news briefings, as the coronavirus spreads rapidly across more than 25 states.
On Tuesday, more than a thousand new deaths were recorded– the deadliest daily total in weeks.
Trump has also encouraged Americans to wear facemasks, although he himself was not wearing one at the podium.
