Jo Swinson talks up chances of being Prime Minister

The Liberal Democrats currently have 18 MPs in the House of Commons – over 300 short of being able to form a majority – but despite that, the party’s leader believes she is a serious contender to become Prime Minister.

Jo Swinson delivered her conference speech telling members that the Lib Dems should not be satisfied with a place on the fringes of British politics.

And her central policy to achieve that – is to stop Brexit.
