Leaders from the Baltic states call on Germany for support

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is meeting with the heads of government of all three Baltic states – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – in Vilnius. For Scholz, this is his first visit to a NATO country that borders Russia and feels particularly threatened by the nuclear power since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began more than three months ago.
