Merkel’s CDU Holds ‘Economy Day’

The top brass of Angela Merkel’s conservative bloc is holding their annual economics summit along side some of Germany’s key business leaders in Berlin. The economy is usually a strong suit for the CDU and they see it as an opportunity to put those credentials on display as they slide in the polls.
