CAP reform: what’s new?

The new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) puts the focus on rural communities, simpler rules for smaller farms, support for young people to take up farming, better conditions for farm workers and funding for local development projects.
The CAP reform wants to reward farmers that boost their environmental ambitions, to improve animal welfare and to implement new measures to prevent soil erosion.
