Commissioner Hahn in Berlin, to discuss the next long-term EU budget

Commissioner for Budget and Administration, Johannes Hahn, will be in Berlin on Wednesday 18 December, for the start of his “tour de capitales”, where he will visit several EU capitals to discuss ways to bring the long-term EU budget negotiations forward. He will meet members of the German government and of the EU affairs committee of the German Bundestag. Ahead of his visit, Commissioner Hahn said: “The Commission is convinced that sticking to the scheduled timeline is essential, for the hundreds of thousands of students, farmers and researchers across Europe, as well as everybody else who benefits from the EU budget. It is high time to find a consensus!”
