Commissioner Malmström in Ukraine

This afternoon, EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström is travelling to Kyiv, Ukraine. Tomorrow, Friday, the Commissioner will meet with Ukrainian representatives to discuss the implementation as of 1 January 2016 of the agreement on a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between the EU and Ukraine. The related reforms will also be discussed. In Kyiv, Commissioner Malmström will meet with President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Minister for Economy and Trade Aivaras Abromavičius. A press point with President Poroshenko and Commissioner Malmström is planned for noon tomorrow at the Presidential Administration building in Kyiv.
