EU-Russia-Ukraine trilateral gas talks continue in Vienna 30 June
The trilateral talks between the EU, Ukraine and the Russian Federation on the follow-up to the Winter Package will take place in Vienna on Tuesday 30 June at the EU Delegation to the International Organisations. Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič will chair the talks which bring together the Minister for Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and the Ukrainian Minister for Energy and Coal Industries Vladimir Demchyshyn as well as industry representatives. The Winter Package on gas supplies to Ukraine was signed between the three sides on 30 October 2014. The agreement was partially extended by the two parties in March and will end 30 June 2015. No press events are foreseen in Vienna on Tuesday. A press statement in the end of the talks will be issued by the European Commission. Vice-President Šefčovič will brief Brussels-based media on Wednesday in the Commission press room at 11.00 (exact timing tbc)
