High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini participates in the G20 ministerial meeting in Nagoya, Japan
On Friday 22 and Saturday 23 November, High Representative/Vice-President Federica Mogherini will be in Tokyo and in Nagoya, Japan, to participate in the Aichi-Nagoya G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting. The ministers’ discussions will be structured around three main topics: promoting free trade and global governance based on the outcomes of the Osaka Summit; realising the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; and Africa’s development, including ways to accelerate economic transformation through innovation, provide comprehensive humanitarian and development assistance for sustainable and resilient societies, and support African-led peace and security efforts. Prior to the G20 Meeting, Federica Mogherini will deliver a keynote speech at the High Level Event on the role of Women and Youth in Peace and Security on Friday in Tokyo.
