MEPs to debate global COVID-19 response with WHO Director-General
The EP Committee responsible for public health will debate the fight against COVID-19 with the Director-General of the World Health Organisation at 16.45.
Today at 16.45, the Committee for Environment, Public Health and Food Safety will hold an exchange of views with the Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on the fight against COVID-19 and the global response to it, including WHO actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to develop treatments and vaccines.

Background
