Spyware inquiry: discussion with targeted MEPs
On Thursday, the EP’s spyware inquiry committee will organise a debate with MEPs who have been victims or targets of spyware.
Having previously heard from spyware victims who are journalists and activists, and discussed the use of spyware and its victims in specific member states (for example Poland and Greece), the committee will now hear the testimonials of MEPs who have been spied on or targeted with spyware.

Where: European Parliament in Strasbourg, Louise Weiss building, room N1.3
The following MEPs will take the floor and discuss their experiences with members of the inquiry committee:
Diana Riba i Giner (Greens/EFA, ES);
Nikos Androulakis (S&D, EL);
Jordi Solé (Greens/EFA, ES);
Antoni Comín (NI, ES) – (direct victims of spyware); and
Carles Puigdemont (NI, ES – victim of indirect targeting via close contacts).
