Statement by the High Representative on behalf of the EU on the alignment of certain countries concerning restrictive measures against ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaeda and persons, groups, undertakings and entities associated with them
On 17 March 2025, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2025/514.
The Decision adds one entity to the list of persons, groups, undertakings and entities set out in the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2016/1693.
Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine align themselves with this Council Decision.
They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.
The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
