The EU approves sanctions targeting individuals and military-controlled entities
New EU sanctions target ten individuals and two military-controlled entities over their role in the military coup in Myanmar and the ensuing violence against peaceful demonstrators, including serious human rights violence. The restrictive measures now apply to a total of 35 individuals and 2 companies. It includes travel bans and assets freeze. The EU is on the side of Myanmar’s peoples.
