The EU is leading the way to build a climate-friendly economy and recover from the COVID-19 crisis in a sustainable way, by switching to renewable energy, investing in energy efficient buildings, making transport clean, creating new jobs in the green economy, protecting our ecosystems, and encouraging citizens in all member states, regions and cities to be more involved in this massive transformation.
