Use of EU agricultural funds/Slovakia. The Budgetary Control Committee will visit Slovakia on a fact-finding mission to inspect the use of EU agricultural funds. MEPs will inquire about an alleged misuse of EU agricultural funds, as reported by murdered journalist Ján Kuciak and later by other journalists. They will meet government officials, NGOs, journalists and local farmers. (Monday to Wednesday)

Trade/Chile. An International Trade Committee delegation is travelling to Chile to get first-hand information on the progress made in modernising a trade agreement between Chile and the EU. The delegation will meet ministers, civil society organisations, legislators, employer associations and representatives of indigenous communities. (Tuesday to Thursday)

President’s diary. EP President Antonio Tajani will deliver the opening speech at the High-level Forum Africa-Europe: Taking cooperation to the digital age, in Vienna, on Tuesday.
