TRANSPORT: TEN-T DAYS 2015 open in Riga
The high-level transport conference ‘TEN-T DAYS 2015’ is held today and tomorrow in Riga. Co-organised by the Commission and the Latvian Council Presidency, it will bring together over 1000 participants to discuss the future of the European transport infrastructure policy. EU Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc and Latvian Transport Minister Anrijs Matīss will attend the event. They will be joined by Transport Ministers and State Secretaries from 16 EU Member States. This year’s edition will focus on the best solutions to implement and finance projects along the trans-European core transport network. One such project is Rail Baltica, for which Ministers of Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland will sign in Riga a declaration of implementation. A press release is available in EN, FR and DE and other language versions.
