Vice-President Schinas and Commissioner Johansson in Berlin

Today, the Vice-President for Promoting our European Way of Life, Margaritis Schinas, and Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson will continue their visits to European capitals to prepare the New Pact on Migration and Asylum. Today, the Vice-President and the Commissioner are travelling to Berlin to meet with Horst Seehofer, the German Minister of the Interior. This visit is part of a programme of bilateral engagement to understand Member States’ positions on the future Pact on Migration and Asylum and to identify areas of convergence.
