Brussels, 20th December 2024 – PubAffairs Bruxelles welcomes the initiative launched on the 18th of December 2024 titled ‘Talk with the Commissioner’.

The new European Commission, which took office on the 1st of December 2024, would like to hear from young Europeans about its future policy. As part of this initiative, Maria Luís Albuquerque, the European Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investments Union, is asking for feedback on the future of finance, on matters such as fintech, sustainability, crypto and AI.

Young Europeans aged between 18 and 30 are invited to share their ideas in a one-minute video. The deadline for application is the 13th of January 2025 and further information can be found on the dialogue page. The Commissioner will then host a 2-hour live-streamed dialogue with the respondents on the 4th of March 2025 in Brussels.

PubAffairs Bruxelles praises this initiative, as it encourages dialogue on relevant issues in the realm of finance among young people and the European society at large. We are delighted to spread information about this initiative via our website and our social media.
