Adrian Joyce is Secretary General of the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EuroACE), a Brussels-based trade association which initiated the Renovate Europe Campaign. He is a professionally qualified architect who spent seventeen years in private practice (working in the UK, France, Belgium and Ireland), before getting involved in architectural policy. Adrian was Practice Director of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, before moving to Brussels to join the Architects’ Council of Europe, where he became Director. He also holds a part-time teaching post at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve, and is also the Chairman of the Coalition for Energy Savings.
