Andrea Cepova is the Deputy Secretary General of the Group of European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) in the European Parliament. She began working in the European Parliament in 2004 as an Expert Advisor in the documentation and research section of the Parliamentary Club of the European People’s Party. She has specialised in parliamentary work and the legislative and decision-making processes through various experiences in several committees, including the Committees on Culture, Employment and Social Affairs, Development Aid and Cooperation and International Trade. While holding managerial positions within the ECR Group, she participates in the strategy and promotion of the priorities of her political group, Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and its Czech national delegation in the ECR Group. Following on her studies in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Prague University of Economics and Business, Andrea Cepova completed her doctoral studies in Political Science and Political Geography at the Charles University of Prague. During her postgraduate studies, she worked for six months at the European University Institute in Florence, she also successfully earned a Law degree at the University of Bourgogne in France and lectured at l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris.
