Ann Nachtergaele is Director Environment and Energy of the Federation of the Food Industry. An agricultural engineer by training – supplemented by a degree in environmental management from the KU Leuven – she started her career at FEVIA in September 1997. Between 1995-1997, she was part of the first team of the Environmental Advisors Unit of the UWE. As a director at FEVIA, she and her team manage all environmental and energy related dossiers in the food industry in Belgium and in the three regions of the country.
