Anna Boulova is Secretary General of FRUCOM, the European Federation of the Trade in Dried Fruit, Nuts, Processed Fruit, Vegetables and Fishery Products. Set up in 1959, FRUCOM now defends, through its membership across the EU, the interests of over 230 importing companies, most of them involved in the edible nuts & dried fruit trade. In her current capacity, she coordinates the positions of the FRUCOM members and liaises with the EU regulatory and scientific bodies, the permanent representations of third countries in Brussels and other stakeholders. Anna Boulova also coordinates a team dealing with sustainability, food safety, trade, agriculture and fisheries. Anna has worked in agri-food trade and services for over 20 years in various regulatory and commercial roles.
