Arthur Borriello is a doctor in political science at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), at the Centre d’étude de la vie politique (CEVIPOL) and a scientific collaborator of the Fonds national de la Recherche Scientifique (F.R.S.- FNRS). After researching the political management of the eurozone economic crisis, he is now interested in the emergence and strengthening of populist movements in Southern Europe. He has worked as a visiting scholar at several foreign institutions, including Cambridge University and the City College of New York. He has recently published a book entitled: “Quand on n’a que l’austérité. Abolition et permanence du politique dans les discours de crise en Italie et en Espagne (2010-2013)”, published by Editions de l’Université de Bruxelles.
