Astrid Lulling is a MEP from Luxembourg and a Member of the Women’s Rights and Gender Equality Committee, the Economic and Monetary Affairs, the Delegation for relations with the countries of Central America and the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. She has also been President of the Intergroup “Wine–Tradition– Quality” of the European Parliament since October 1999. She is a Substitute member in the Agriculture & Rural Development Committee and in the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Elected for the first time in the European Parliament in 1965, she has been a MEP since 1989. Astrid Lulling was also President of the National Council of Luxembourg Women, President of the Committee of Female Work of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as President of the European Centre of the International Women’s Council.
