Axel Minaire

Axel Minaire is a Policy Advisor for the Renew Europe Group. He has served on the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence and the Committee on Industry, Innovation, Research, and Energy (ITRE). Prior to this, he served as Vice Chair of the Digital Consumer Policy Group at DIGITALEUROPE, concentrating on consumer rights, copyright, and platform liability. Axel’s career includes prominent roles at Samsung Electronics, where he was Head of Policy, and senior positions at Gplus Europe, where he worked as an Account Director. Earlier in his professional journey, he managed an MEP Office at the European Parliament, served as a Policy Adviser at the Regional Council Nord-Pas de Calais, and worked as a European Policy Officer at MEDEF. He holds a degree in Economics and Political Sciences and two master’s degrees in International Relations and Political Sciences from the University of Lyon.
