After completing his education, Christian Blackert joined Remondis where he completed an apprenticeship and a dual study programme in business administration. After several years with the Group, he moved to an automotive supplier in the north of Muensterland in Germany as sales manager. In 2015, he ‘returned to the family’, as he puts it. After holding positions as a key account manager and authorised signatory, he has been Regional Manager at TSR Rhein-Ruhr, which comprises ten locations in North Rhine-Westphalia, since 2017. Several hundred thousand tonnes of scrap metal are processed here every year. Since 2024 Blackert is Managing Director at TSR Resource GmbH & Co. KG, where he is responsible for strategic recycling products such as TSR40 and industrial partnerships.
