Brigide Kisters is First Secretary and Transport Attaché at the Permanent Representation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the European Union and is responsible for traffic and infrastructure-related matters. Previously, she worked as a Senior Policy Officer for infrastructures at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment of the Netherlands. In this capacity, she was involved in several transport-related projects and she provided guidance and advice to decision-making authorities in the domain of regulatory modernisation, as well. Brigide Kister was also Senior Adviser for European Affairs at the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. She started her career as a civil servant at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1991 after having obtained a “Doctoraal” in Administrative Studies with a specialisation in International Relations and Management & Planning from the University of Twente.
