Cinzia Alcidi is head of the Economic Policy Unit at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels and a researcher at the School of European Political Economy at LUISS University. Before joining CEPS, Cinzia Alcidi worked at the International Labour Office in Geneva and taught international economics at the University of Perugia, Italy. Her research activities include international economics, macroeconomics, the role of central banks and EU governance. Since 2015, she has been coordinating the activities of the CEPS Academy. Ms Alcidi has published numerous studies on the economics and governance of the eurozone crisis and regularly participates in international conferences.
