Daniel Fraile is senior analyst for grids and market integration at the European Wind Energy Association (WindEurope). He coordinates industry activities in the area of grid integration, such as the development of European and national grid codes, and supports the WindEurope’s policy activities on energy market design. Before joining WindEurope in 2015, Daniel worked on strategic management consulting in renewable energies at Hinicio, for the European photovoltaic industry association, for the environmental NGO CAN-Europe as well as for the Spanish utility Iberdrola. Daniel is a telecommunications engineer specialized in renewable energy, with over 10 years of experience on energy and research policy, project management and international cooperation in the field of renewable energy.
