David Luff is an international trade lawyer and a guest professor of international trade law at the College of Europe and the Universities of Liege, Lille, Barcelona, and Moscow. He has been practicing international trade law at both EC and WTO levels for twenty-three years. He is in charge of major trade remedies and competition cases and he is working on projects where he deals with technical barriers to trade, customs rules, WTO dispute settlement, regional integration and market access actions. He has advised multinational companies and governments on WTO implementation and trade negotiations issues. David Luff has also advised several countries on cross-sectoral strategies to take advantage of international trade rules and on the means to adjust to challenges posed by multilateral trade negotiations. He has also counselled the governments of two countries in their WTO accession negotiations.
