Gonzalo de Mendoza Asensi is a member of the Cabinet of the Commission for Climate Action and Energy. He is responsible for Energy projects and interconnections, relations with the European Parliament, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions. His area of competence within the Cabinet includes energy interconnections, shale gas, oil and coal research, science and innovation, nuclear energy and nuclear safeguards.
