Helmut Morsi started working at the European Commission in DG MOVE on logistics by managing the Marco Polo I programme and creating Marco Polo II. Since 2006 he has been engaged in various positions at TEN-T. He also created and managed the TENtec Information System and the creation of all TEN-T maps. Since April 2015 he is an Adviser to the Director of DG MOVE-B “Investment, Innovative & Sustainable Transport”, with tasks including coordination of Innovation, New Technologies and IT. Since 2008, he has been working on the development of the TEN-T / CEF innovation and new technologies priority, with a focus on market-sided innovation for transport infrastructure, while recently he focused on the new financial instruments of CEF and EFSI for innovation, as well as on the innovation synergy portfolio.
