Jörgen Gren is a member of the Cabinet of Vice President Ansip. He recently worked as Head of Unit dealing with Digital Agenda and single market-related policies in DG CONNECT. He was also Deputy Head of Unit in the same directorate and he negotiated the financial framework for the Connecting Europe Facility on broadband and digital services. Previously, Jörgen Gren served as Head of the Press/Media Unit for the 2009 Swedish presidency and was a member of the Cabinet of Ms Hübner, Polish Commissioner for Regional Policy.
