Lucas Lenchant is the Senior Advisor to the Permanent Representative of the European Investment Bank (EIB) to the EU institutions. Previously, he was Head of Office of the Vice-President representing Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg in the EIB’s Management Committee. Prior to joining the EIB, Lucas Lenchnat worked as Government Affairs manager for a major steel company. He started his career in the European Commission as Desk for industry relations in DG Trade, and subsequently, as Policy Coordinator in the briefing cell of Presidents Barroso and Juncker. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Sciences – International Relations from the KULeuven, and a Master’s degree in International Business from Sciences Po Paris.
