Marie-Christine Vergiat is a Member of the European Parliament, member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, and of the Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament. She was elected to the European Parliament in 2009 for the European United Left/Nordic Green Left Group. Previously, she worked for the Socialist Group in the French National Assembly and in Martine Aubry’s cabinet.
