Markus Wilthaner is a Partner at McKinsey & Company. He specialises in hydrogen, fuel cells, and batteries, and he helps his clients start businesses, enter new markets, raise capital, reduce product costs, and acquire companies. He leads Hydrogen Insights, McKinsey’s dedicated hydrogen team, as well as the hydrogen team within McKinsey’s Sustainability Platform, and has worked in Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. He has Master’s degrees from Johns Hopkins SAIS and the Vienna University of Technology and is currently based in Brussels, Belgium.
