Neil McMillan is Director of Advocacy and Political Affairs at EuroCommerce, the principal representative of the retail and wholesale in the EU. Previously, he was a Partner at Brunswick LLP and dealt with public and government affairs for a range of clients. Neil McMillan worked for 30 years in the British public and diplomatic service, including in Brussels and Geneva. His last job in government was as Director in the Prime Minister’s European and Global Affairs Secretariat in London. He chaired the 1997 WTO talks which agreed liberalisation of basic telecoms services in over 70 countries.
