As of 1st August 2023, Frank Niederländer has assumed the new position of Head of Governmental Affairs Europe. A passionate European committed to fostering societal change through technology and innovation, Dr Frank Niederländer is currently VP for Governmental Affairs Europe leading the BMW Group Representative Office in Brussels and the BMW Group engagement with external stakeholders across the European Union. He held various leadership positions within the BMW Group including in research & development, strategic planning, product development and finance/controlling. In 2018, he was appointed Executive Board Member of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt.
