Paulo Gouveia is Director of General Affairs at Copa-Cogeca since 2007 and has been a sherpa member at the High Level Forum for a better functioning food supply chain He is responsible for the coordination of horizontal policies at Copa-Cogeca with special regard to co-operatives, agribusinesses and the food chain. He has more than 25 years experience working for farmer and cooperative organisations in Portugal and in other EU member states. He has specialised in agro-economics, institutional capacity building and institutional development of agricultural organisations. Paulo Gouveia is a graduate of the Instituto Superior de Agronomia of the University of Lisbon in Portugal.
