Telička Pavel

Pavel Telička is a Czech Politician and a Member of the European Parliament as well as a vice-President of the ALDE Party. After his graduation from the Faculty of Law of the Charles University in Prague in 1986, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czechoslovakia. In the following years, he held various high-level positions, including as a deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as within the Czech Mission to the European Union. From 1998 onwards, he served as Chief Negotiator for the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. In December 2004, he co-founded “BXL Consulting” which was providing consultancy in EU affairs, while, in January 2005, he joined the European Policy Centre as a Senior Advisor. Since May 2005, Pavel Telička   has been a member of Board of Directors of the association “Notre Europe”.
