A lawyer by profession, Alex Agius Saliba was elected for the first time as an MEP at the age of 30 and has since been serving on the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO), the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) and as an S&D Coordinator in the Committee on Petitions (PETI). More recently, Alex Agius Saliba has been put in charge of the IMCO Committee’s report on the Digital Services Act.
