Saša Butorac is the Energy and Climate Policy Advisor for Renew Europe. Since 2015, he has been advising the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) and Renew Europe on climate and energy issues. He has extensive experience in EU policies, having previously worked on the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and EU Enlargement-related questions. From 2009 to 2014, he served as an Advisor to a Slovenian liberal Member of the European Parliament. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Belgrade and furthered his studies at Bard College in New York. He also earned a second Master’s degree from the University College London.
