Siim Meeliste is currently Counsellor for energy issues in the Estonian Permanent Representation to the EU and is leading work on the renewables directive. He is on a temporary leave from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications where his main fields of work have been related to renewable energy, biofuels and R&D policy. Siim Meeliste has a background in environmental and resource management.
