Sophie Peresson joined Business Action to Stop Counterfeiting and Piracy as programme director in October 2017. She was previously the director of Transparency International’s global Health and Pharmaceuticals programme where she worked mainly on the counterfeiting, corruption and ethical business practice issues. During her time at Transparency International, she launched the Health and Pharmaceuticals programme and spearheaded several publications (e.g. Corruption in the Pharmaceutical Sector, Business Principles for Promoting Integrity). Sophie has an established track-record of managing multi-country projects and programmes, and of leading research and policy analysis.
