Volmer Thomas

Thomas Volmer is the head of global content delivery policy at Netflix, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service. Thomas Volmer is an expert on the development of hyper scalable internet infrastructure, at the intersection of technology investments, engineering and public policy. He works to promote policies that enable the development of a global, unconstrained, open internet. Prior to joining Netflix, Thomas Volmer worked for over a decade in the internet industry; most recently at Google on content delivery network and data centre footprint expansion and at Orange in various business and regulatory affairs management positions. Thomas Volmer holds a MSc degree in Telecom Engineering from Telecom ParisTech.
