Yorgos Altintzís is the Economic and Social Policy Officer of the International Trade Unions Confederation. Mr Altintzís advocates workers’ interests in international trade and investment negotiation processes, advises on the use of trade instruments to promote labour rights, and promotes industrial policy for structural transformation in the global trade agenda. He is a Member of the EU-Korea Domestic Advisory Group and also deals with organising trade unions’ representation in and messaging to global governance processes like the G20, G7, ASEM, and APEC. Mr Altintzís is the Coordinator of the Asia-Europe Labour Forum.
